Good afternoon, Flying Fish families!

We’re excited for our first dual meet of the season this Saturday! We’ll be heading to Kingwood to face Fosters Mill/Kings Point. Please carefully review the important information below to ensure a smooth and successful meet.

Meet Details:

📍 Pool Address:

5585 Hidden Lakes Dr, Kingwood, TX 77345

🚗 Parking:

Parking is limited and strictly enforced by the HOA.

• Do not park on both sides of any street.
• Observe all “No Parking” signs.
• Additional parking is available across the street at Willow Creek Elementary. Please park in marked spaces and do not park on the grass.

🏕️ Team Setup Area:

Flying Fish will set up on the left side of the clubhouse when facing the pool.

🍴 Concessions:

Full concessions will be available, including breakfast tacos, lunch items, snow cones, snacks, and drinks.

Payment options: Cash or Zelle only.

🌤️ Weather Forecast:

• Highs in the upper 70s (real feel ~80°F)
• Moderate humidity
• High to Very High UV index starting around noon
• Minimal chance of rain
  Please bring sunscreen and bugspray.

🕖 Meet Timeline:

• Arrival Time: Please arrive no later than 7:00 AM
• Swimmer Check-In: 7:00–7:30 AM
  • Swimmers must check in with coaching staff to confirm attendance, mark-up, and relay participation.
• Volunteer Check-In: 7:00–7:30 AM
• Warm-Ups Begin: 7:45 AM
  • 7:45 - Minnows, Fish, & White
  • 7:55 - Blue & Black
  • 8:05 - Silver
• Swimmers in Events 1 should go directly from warmup to Ready Tent
• Meet Start Time: 8:30 AM

🖊️ Race Markings:

Parents are responsible for marking swimmer events (including relays) on their swimmer’s right arm with a black Sharpie before check-in.

🧳 What to Bring:

Chairs, tents, blankets, sunscreen, extra towels, water, and snacks.

🌧️ Rain Policy:

There’s currently only a small chance of rain.

• In the event of lightning, the meet will be paused or possibly canceled.
• If there’s rain without lightning, the meet will continue as planned.
