Invitational Meet Information

Good afternoon, Flying Fish families!

What a great start to the season so far! Invitationals are just around the corner. These meets are a great opportunity for swimmers to compete against some of the best athletes in NWAL. We hope all swimmers who have qualifying times will consider participating!

Invitational Meet Information

Please keep the following in mind when considering invitational meets:

  • Qualifying Times Required: Each meet sets its own minimum time standards. If your swimmer qualifies for an event, you will be able to select that event when registering.
  • Event Fees: Individual event fees must be paid prior to the meet through the Merchandise page. Select the qty of events you are paying for. Fees vary by meet. Flying Fish will cover relay entry fees.
  • Volunteer Requirements: Some invitationals may require additional volunteer shifts. Requirements will be communicated once provided by the host team. These shifts do not count toward your four regular Flying Fish volunteer shifts.

Summer Heat Invitational

Sunday, June 8 | Atascocita High School

  • Registration is open now.
  • Individual event fees: $7 per event
  • Qualifying times may come from Time Trials or official dual meet times.
  • Swimmers ages 11 & up will compete in the morning session (9:00 AM).
  • Swimmers ages 10 & under will compete in the afternoon session.
  • Warm-up times and estimated session start times will be communicated by Thursday, June 4.

Additional Information

Trinity Summer Classic

Saturday & Sunday, June 20–21 | Conroe ISD Natatorium

  • Registration is not open yet.
  • Individual event fees: $10 per event
  • Qualifying times must be official times from Dual Meets, Summer Heat Invitational, or Divisionals.
  • Swimmers ages 10 & under will compete on Saturday, June 20.
  • Swimmers ages 11 & up will compete on Sunday, June 21.
  • Sessions begin at 8:00 AM both days.
  • Warm-up times will be communicated by Thursday, June 18.

Additional Information

Ponderosa Invitational

Saturday & Sunday, June 20–21 | Cy-Fair ISD Natatorium

  • Registration is open now.
  • Individual event fees: $12.50 per event
  • Saturday: Freestyle and backstroke events. Sunday: Breaststroke, butterfly and IM events.
  • Qualifying times must be official times from Dual Meets, Summer Heat Invitational, or Divisionals.
  • Warm-up times will be communicated by Thursday, June 18.
